Beacon Recreation is excited to offer Dutchess County Residents free swim classes at the BCSD High School pool. All Classes are American Red Cross Learn to Swim Level I, Level II & Level III. Class size is very limited. Please only enroll if you intend to attend all classes. Each child will only be able to participate in one session of lessons.

We are hoping to work with students towards stroke development. These classes are for participants new to swimming strokes with an emphasis on gaining confidence and learning how to be safe around water.

This program runs either Mondays or Tuesdays for three classes. Classes are approximately 20-25 minutes in length and will focus on safety, fun, and swimming fundamentals.

Parents should plan on hanging out on the bleachers in the pool area, opposite our area of instruction. Participants ONLY will have access to the locker rooms

These lessons will occur at the BCSD pool at the High School 101 Matteawan Rd, Beacon, NY 12508

Please note, these classes are free and available to all DUTCHESS COUNTY residents and funded in part by NYS OCFS and Dutchess County DCFS Division of Youth Services.
