Camp @ the Camp is located at the Settlement Camp, 50 Camp Loop Road. Camp @ the Camp is a four-week day camp designed to deepen children's relationship to their natural environment, nourish creativity, build community, and encourage outdoor play. Our grounds at the Settlement Camp Park in Beacon, New York, were once the site of a residential summer camp which the University Settlement founded in 1910 to provide NYC youth with an experience in nature and a place to grow a message of hope, tolerance, and community building. This historic and beautiful site provides a special home for our fun-filled summer program.
Each session will be a magical medley of all our favorite things that we've done over the past few seasons sprinkled with a few surprises we have up our sleeves for this summer.
Every child will be allowed to sign up for ONE(1) session. Each session is ten days. Each week operating Monday through Friday.
The ten (10) day program will be a collection of some of our most popular camp activities as well as some new additions. We are very much looking forward to having the campers this summer.
Session 1 • July 8th - July 19th
Session 2 • July 22nd - August 2nd
Program hours are from 8:30am - 3:00pm. The program fee is $550.00 for the session (ten (10) days) ($650.00 for non-Beacon residents).
Younger campers should arrive between 8:30 am and 8:45 am. Older kids should arrive between 8:45 and 9:00 am. If you have more than one child, please drop off at the time appropriate for the youngest child. The program will dismiss similarly with pick-up between 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm. All children must be picked up by 3:00 pm.
